Respected Madam/Sir My son is 6months 2days old. he is suffering from cold and cough and my Dr has advised me mucolite 10 drops and atrax 10 drops till ten days. He has not given any antibiotic.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cough and Cold should be treated only after a proper examination by a doctor as there may be some associated bfffactor .
As the first line of treatment you can give steam inhalation which would be helpful .
Cough Syp should be given only after a proper evaltuation .
