ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician6 years agoA. Warm compress over the breast helps in relieving the pain and also taje paracetamol or an analgesif pain is too much. Make sure whike feeding the entire nipple and most of the aerola is in mouth and never forcefully detach the baby from breast

Apoorva MoreMom of a 9 yr 5 m old boy6 years agoA. Hello Mommy!! Sore nipples are very painful and compromise breastfeeding the baby. You can apply glycerin in nipples after every feed but make sure you clean the nipples with warm water before the next feed. You can also apply ghee on the nipples. Also if it's very cracked, try using nipple shield till they heal
