Q.

One more doubt I have, now she has completed five months and I have to resume my work after my maternity leave, so thought of starting formula milk but during this time gotten attacked with corona. What should I do? Should I continue only with breast milk or I can give formula milk as well?

A. Weaning food can be started from 5-6 months of age and in that initially in the stage 1 you can introduce some semi solid food to the baby like Banana mango plum boiled Apple and then gradually you can start with some Puri of carrot potato other foods which can be given are porridge of suji e sabudana can be prepared in breast milk or formula gmilk. initially you can start with one or two tsp which can be greadually increased up till at least three meals in a day

A. hi it is always best to give breasfeeding only but as you have to join work ,I advise to use any good brand breastpump like Babyhug breastpump for this. so your child can get milk even you are not there with your child
