ExpertAlapati HariPaediatrician7 years agoA. Hi, normal breathing rate in new born is 40 per minute can go upto 60 per minute. From one month to 1 year cut off is 50 per minute. From 1- 5 yeast cut off is 40 per minute. Above 5 years cut off is 30 per minute. Any breathing rate above these will have chest retractions associated.

shilpi BhandariMom of 2 children7 years agoA. normal breathing rate of the baby is between 26 to 30 times per minute if it is high what if your baby is having cold and cough you need to consult your doctor as soon as possible
