deepti gandotraMom of a 12 yr 10 m old boy9 years agoA. Sometimes the child has strong gums due to which the nipple pain post feeding. Apart from the other suggestions given you can nipple protectors which are made of silicon & help the child suckle easily without hurting you. But first you should check for any soreness or cuts around the nipple. Breast milk or desi ghee are home remedies. In case of extreme pain or bleeding consult a lactation therapist or your gynaecologist

Mannat GMom of a 9 yr 7 m old girl9 years agoA. If your nipples are paining or sore due to feeding then apply a bit of breast milk and let them air dry for awhile. If that also doesn't help then try this cream called lansinoh (it comes in a purple tube) and apply it after feeding, it really helps. In case your nipples are bleeding, however, then please speak to your doctor as blood should not be getting mixed with the milk.
