my son was suffering from fever...can i put wet towel on his forehead and body

ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist7 years agoA. just feed well. wear comfortable clothing. do sponging with water at normal temperature, not too cold. it helps in taking temperature down. do not give medications without prescriptions. consult your doctor in case of persistent fever, poor oral intake, excessively sleepy child.

SantoMom of a 8 yr 9 m old girl7 years agoA. Sure you can. Try to place a wet cloth in forehead. This would reduce the heat. Keep monitoring for temperature. If the temperature is more It's better to check with your doctor and follow his advise. That would be the best and safest option.
