Q.
my son took an overdose of levocetrizine syrup. will it cause any severe side effects. he just opened the bottle and drink it. he is just 2 years old

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 1 Year agoA. Just keep a watch for 24 hours if baby is having normal feeding and normal physical activities as regular before, then nothing to worry about
if in case you observe something different or if baby is feeling very sleepy then you can consult with your pediatrician

It’s a basic antiallergic which has good amount of paracetamol into that so mostly it could be that your child may sleep for a longer duration and if your child does not vomit and does not have diarrhoea rash or showing any kind of discomfort then that means it is not a problem but are you aware about how much medicine has your child had if needed please consult your doctor immediately
