Q.

my son is having chicken pox..he is 15 days shy to a year old. he is on day 2 and its all flairing up... medicines are given by his doctor but is there anything else we can do..he is super cranky which in general he is the happiest baby you'll ever finding.. nothing is soothing him..also he had no exposure apart from one sister (9yrs) who visited us. She was all fine...i understand chicken pox isn't serious but the source is bothering me..can be just airborne or it has to be from contact?

A. No Neither it is airborne not it has got something to do with the contact of a person it happens once in the lifetime and it can happen at any point of time till the time you do not get the vaccination done before that there are bright chances of a child having chicken box and in the later stage also at whatever age you can think of a child or an adult can have chicken have a chickenpox so need not worry about it
