Q.

My son is 6 week old. (DOB 7 Oct) I wish to go with Goverment Vaccination Schedule. But the issue is Vaccination centre , have there scheduled vaccination drive only once in a month 1 Thursday and 1st Friday of the month. Can , I delay the second vaccination (6 week dose) of my baby boy by 2 weeks? to match the GOVT. schedule?

A. yes can be done there should not be a problem if you postpone it for maximum one month but after that it is not advisable because the child become susceptible to the vaccine preventable disease. try to get a vaccination as early as possible for first one year to 2 year of age

A. Hello dear parent! As per my knowledge it doesn’t work out that way. The first few vaccinations are to be given on time as much as possible. Consult your local paediatrician for further advice. Continue breastfeeding your baby well on demand. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug daily massage oil. Good luck and take care.
