A. ..it's normal... some baby start to talk late... as every baby is different... keep encouraging her... try to make her talk... we as a parent can decode every half spoken words and even cry of our baby... so they don't feel the need to speak in words... so everytime when they ask for something, you should say that you cannot understand what they are saying, please say in words... also encourage them a lot to speak... Limit the screen time..as it does not encourage the baby for 2 way communication .. for baby to learn to talk, they need to feel the requirements of speaking.. The need of 2 way communication.. Which is not possible while watching TV and mobile... By watching TV they can learn a lot of words but don't learn how to speak actually... So please limit the screen time... take them to near by places and talk to him about the things... take him to the near by parks where he can meet other kids of same age or some elder kids... take him to meet a lot of people and family members like grand parents etc... if she is saying something wrong you should not interfere her.. instead after she finished repeat the same in correct way... .. keep repeating the things.. also break the complex words into small pieces... Emphasis the vowels in the words like say CAAAR instead of car... Make eye contact with your kiddo when you speak to them. Let them see the change in your expression and connect them to the various emotions... And please don't use childish language. ... it's normal to baby to take time to learn speaking... don't worry too much, they will learn soon... it will be matter of one month when he will start to talk , you will get amazed how much he is talking , non stop talking... so don't worry too much... just keep encouraging... Also if you're concerned then please consult the pediatrician.. Please check for hearing test too...as some baby don't talk due to their hearing capacity. ...
