my son is 20 month old...we observed that suddenly he is scared of ppl...eg we are in lift if he see someone he will hide beside me and starts to look down...he plays well with his peer group in park..but get scared seeing other elder or little big children...this was not before it has started suddenly since 1 week...is this normal?

Yes Definitely it is very normal but you do have to see lately anybody scolded your child or some something you know some elder person or maybe which is why your child is scared of an elder child or an elder person because sometimes in older people scream on an elder child screamed the years small kids tend to get scared so that could be one of the reason
