my son ahan 8 year 4 months old has severe vitamin d deficiency 0.27 ng per ml.Doctor suggested me osteocalcium syrup for him not vitamin d supplement which is essential for quick raise of vitamin d in normal range.is it right or not?

A. If the vitamin D is less they have to give a proper vitamin D supplement which can be given straight for three months once in a week if your doctor has not advised you any then you should check with another doctor because it is like this you have to give a proper separate vitamin D to the child
