my sister in law has 2 month old baby. her baby is not feeding mother milk. please suggest

A. Tell her to keep trying to feed the milk. This can be done by following - 1. Press the breast to see the amount of milk getting expressed. If it's good then try to feed the baby directly. 2. If the baby is not taking bm then bring the baby more often near the breast and try to feed bm directly only. 3. Do not give subsitiute feed. Baby will slowly start accepting bm when it is hungry. 4. You can also use breast pump to express more milk in case all other methods fail. 5. mother must maintain adequate water to take and a balanced diet . Mother can also take fennel seed soaked water with methi to increase.
