Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children2 years agoA. indication of infection of liver for further advice in this regard you better consult your doctor for physical examination investigations if required then only proper treatment can be given and advise also in this regard

The blood SGPT levels are thus elevated with liver damage (for example, from viral hepatitis) or with an insult to the heart (for example, from a heart attack). Some medications can also raise SGPT levels. Also called alanine aminotransferase (ALT).
