apply breastmilk and let it air dry..

it is best to apply breastmilk to cracked nipple especially hind milk. it has great healing properties. don't wear bra until healed and let it air dry.

creams have to be washed before breastfeeding which again dries the area and aggravates injury.

improper latching may have resulted in this. take care that maximum areola is in mouth of child, lower lip is curled out and chin touches breast

Hello...Painful cracked and bleeding nipples are not a normal side effect of breastfeeding. Nursing shouldn't be painful – in fact, pain is a warning sign that you have a problem that needs correcting.you can apply nipcare after feeding baby...clean it with warm water before next feeding to baby...using for few days you can free from cracked nipples..
