Q.
my new born boy baby wants to keep drinking my milk... even though he is full he wants to suck until he's asleep... expect while sleeping he wants to suck all the time... sometimes my milk is not enough for him... I'm really confused whether it's because he sucks without rest or I'm not having enough milk... please clarify

Author of questionGuardian of 0 children4 years agoA. yes Nihita.. I do check that often... but I feel like the milk supply gets reduced as hours passes... somehow I'm confident that when baby sucks more milk will be ejected than while me squeezing it... correct me if wrong...

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of a 12 yr 9 m old boy4 years agoA. the new born babies take more feeding time during breastfeeding with their mother because it gives them emotional satisfaction in sense of security you should not worry about it just make sure your baby stomach is full and then you can make the baby sleep

Nihita mittalMom of 4 children4 years agoA. when the baby has consumed to the milk I would request you to check whether there is still milk coming out on squeezing your nipple or not it is possible that the child is only keeping nipple in the mouth for comfort feeding
