Q.
My nefew is passing green stools since day before yesterday .. it's more than 20 time since then.. with the medicines. metronidazole and oflixacine... yesterday night he slept well with no stool from 12.30 pm to 7 AM.. but morning he passed greenish stool again followed by vomiting with traces of blood clots.. again vomited after one hour with same blood clots.. what's the severity

ExpertDr. Swapnil SaxenaAyurvedic Physician5 years agoA. traces of blood mucus in the stool are suggestive of infection and you need to consult with doctor properly all the green colour in itself is normal if your baby drinks formula milk and consistency is normal frequency is normal stool are not mixed with mucus and blood then no need to worry only about green colour
