My kid is 2yr 2 month old girl baby. she understood all the things we are speaking but she is not speaking when we ask anything. she will speak one one word whenever she is.

Regarding Speech  Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age
then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months .
child can start saying simple sentences by two years of age .
just mfake the child comfortable and do more interaction with the child so that he can learn to spedak sentences properly.
if the speech does not comes even by three years of age you need  to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .

but one thing ,is your child make eye contact while talking?
is she respond to her name ?

just encourage your child by talking with her more
play different games, sing rhymes and read stories with your child,it will definitely help
but never force your child to speak.
