Q.
My family members does not bathe the baby. She is being water spong only and is being oiled with olive oil 3-4 times a day. She is having rashes all over her face. Kindly suggest should we consult a doctor.

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. Newborn babies need to be given a sponge bath with warm water and very little soap till the navel heals, the baby should be bathed twice or thrice a week since frequent bathing may damage the baby's skin.

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 11 m old boy4 years agoA. Hi mom Rashes on the face is due to sensitive skin.. Change the oil as it might also be the reason for rashes.. U can buy #Babyhug daily massage oil for ur baby which is pure and additive free.
