Q.

My daughter's height is increasing but her health is not increasing. Weight is 17 kg. What could be the problem of not increasing health.

A. Ensure they get proper sleep.Encourage them to do stretching exercises to elongate their bones and muscles.Encourage them to play sports.Expose them to the sun for vitamin D.Urge them to eat home-cooked food.Practice counting and singing the ABCs.Encourage drawing, coloring, and recognizing and writing letters.Keep consistent daily routines and times for meals, snacks, playing, reading, cleaning up, waking up, and going to bed.Healthy options include fresh vegetables and fruits, low-fat dairy products (milk, yogurt, cheeses) or dairy substitutes, lean proteins (beans, chicken, turkey, fish, lean hamburger, tofu, eggs), and whole-grain cereals and bread.
