Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. bleeding from the nasal cavity also known as epistexis.
during the initial bleeding episode you will have to press up on the bleeding area to stop tche bleeding.
you can press some cold ice or cold cloth also to decrease the bleeding
after bleeding stops you have to make use of nasal saline cdrops to keep the nasal cavity moist and also apply antibacterial cream (tbact) over the bleeding area for faster healing

it happens because of dry mucus , heat or low intake of fluids ,nose pricking etc
so please keep your child well hydrated
to prevent it ,
avoid nose pricking
use nasal saline drops for dry mucus
you may use humidifier
at the time of nose bleeding, try cool pack on head.
