Q.

My daughter is 3 years old, Due to covid issues and not much conversation at home she still does not speak, Main issue is she is not speaking in full sentences, She can speak in 3-4-5 word sentences, She reply if we ask any questions regarding any object shape albhabets, study , She is very brilliant. But when comes about herself, like if she need to go potty susu, if she is hungry or if she want anything,where did you go, why u were crying, what where how, she doesn't reply. whenever I force her to reply, she just repeat my words, she doesn't know what should mumma speak and what should she reply, She just repeat everything, I don't know how to teach her speaking.

A. you should not worry as you can wait till 3 years of age of the child to speak in complete sentences clearly and fluently if its not so then consult doctor.till that time keep interacting as much as possible and involve the child in language enhancing activities using audiovisual aids too. dont worry if other milestones arlie normal this will also be achieved in time at times it may get delayed..there are variations in children by age for this. . .
