Q.
my daughter is 2 months old...she has one big pimple like thing on her left arm...this was noticed when we have started massaging 15 days back.plz suggest what to do?

Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children4 years agoA. This could be due to the BCG vaccine administtered to the baby after birth (I hope the pimple is on the same location) and there should be nothing to worry. A lump will be formed in about two months on the administered spot usually left upper arm wthich will look reddish with pus. This will heal on few weeks and form a scar which will stay permanent with the baby. This whole process may take two to five weeks. If the pus leaks or the lump does not subside for longer more than a month then you can show it to your pediatrician once. Otherwise everything is normal
