My daughter is 1year 5months old and we as a parent are feeding her with laxopeg since 3-4 months continuously as she is having frequent constipation. Is it safe to continue with this medicine further as when stop giving her this syrup, she again gets constipated. Don't know why we are not getting a permanent solution to it.

The problem of constipation will decrease with proper diet modification that is plenty of water and fibre diet and try to give more papaya oats and fennel seeds water to the child.
You may have to give a course of constipation medicine to the child to stabilize the child from the pain.
Constipation usually decreases with increasing age of the child and medicines give only symptomatic relief.

You continue to give it the body is going to get addicted to it and after a while this will also stop working for the child I agree constipation is very big issue so I’m going to recommend recommend you to try these simple home remedies where you should start applying castor oil in and around the Naval before sleeping start the day with a glass of little bit of warm water followed by papaya and try and include more of liquid and fibres into the Dad that should be helpful for the child
