my daughter is 10 months old and has not started to crawl however she can sit and ask us to make her stand ? is it normal?

If your child is learning to work and stand with support with whether is your support or support from the things around then it is not a problem because some kids learn to walk first and then crawling come in so not a problem but you can teach your child how to crawl by taking the crawling position teach your child how to do it
