Q.
my daughter is 1 year old and she passed dark green black stool yesterday at afternoon and night .... no spinach was introduced to her..... she is on nan lo lac formula because of lactose intolerance..... but day before yesterday due to unavailability of nan lo lac the doc suggested zero lac ..... she didn't take it at first but after sometime she startd to drink it.... she is taking iron drops and multivitamins syrup....but dark green stool was in large quantities ....please suggest something

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. all normal.. as per your description, your baby is on iron supplements than his/her poop can be dark green in color, which is normal n nothing to worry about it.

please include natural probiotics in your child daily diet like fresh curd buttermilk lassi curry dhokla idli etc
if necessary please consult with your pediatrician about this matter
please maintain hygiene properly with Babyhug multipurpose cleaner
