Q.

my daughter has small red bumps on her diaper area , it causes no irritation of any sort or any pain but it is spreading . should I see a doc or how can I treat it at home? I am using b4 nappi cream for her

A. Candid b cream is also effective .. but coconut oil n sandalwood paste ( Chandan) (the natural one not the powdered one) also do wonders ...

A. Coconut oil is the best followed by diaper rash cream . Before putting diapers you can apply coconut oil. If the rashes are still there you can go for diaper rash cream(Sebamed or Himalayas are good). You should also give diaper free time for few hours everyday. Also make sure you choose the right size which is neither too loose nor too tight for the baby. And in very severe cases of rashes, stop using diapers for sometime. You can consult with your pediatrician and get some medicated ointments prescribed.
