Q.
My child is having fever (sometimes 101 or 102) continuously from last 2-3 days along with cold n cough.we are not even able to send him to school. Can meftagesic be given to him by repeating 8 hours or before going to school to prevent fever. Plz tell

SandhyaMom of a 8 yr 8 m old girl3 years agoA. Hi, if the fever is from past 2 to 3 days it is better to consult doctor. As the temperature is very high. if the fever has not come down after giving normal fever medicine then it is please better to consult paediatrician immediately and start with antibiotic. Please do not send kid to school let the baby rest for 3 to 4 days until fever comes down has they will be very weak and that they need to be kept hydrated and then need rest.
