my child is 8 year old..having cough n cold few days before fever too...but now only cough n cold..kindly suggest some home remidies and medicine

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cold is a viral illness and symptoms could be sneezing, running nose, cough sore throat, nasal congestion and fever. Treatment consists of antihistamines antipyretics analgesics and decongestants . steam inhxalation would be beneficial . Medicines like sinarest/wikoryl / Alex cold can be given in a proper dose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr old girl4 years agoA. flu . Mild cough and cold may be due to any wheather changes . Medicine should be avoided and only steam should be given to baby 2 to 4 times in a day .if cough is troublesome then asthakind LS can be given to baby 3 times in a day .
