Q.
My child is 2 months and 3 days old. He gets startled by sudden or loud sound but does not turn his head towards the sound if we call him or clap or make any sound from any direction. Is it normal?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. most newborns startle or "jump" to sudden loud noises. by 3 months, a baby recognizes and calms to a parent's voice. by 6 months, babies turn their eyes ozr head toward a new sound and repeat sounds.
