Q.

my boy is of 2 yr and 6 mnth just 11 kg having milk allergy with chronic constipation, he is very fussy eater spits out everything refuses fruits he was has mucous in his poops.. pls do suggest

A. for such a small child it is important to first confirm the diagnosis of constipation and if the child is having this problem again and again then you will have to give constipation medicine Your child is having constipation for which kindly give plenty of water to drink and fibre diet made from cereals pulses vegetables and fruits. Specially give papaya banana oats fennel seeds water it will help in decreasing constipation and even after that the problem continues kindly meet your doctor for constipation medicine. it is important for you to know that the problem of constipation will improve with increasing age of the child. You may increase or decrease the dosage of constipation medicine if needed according to the consistency of the stool
