my baby is one week old...kindly suggest vitamin drops for my newborn

A. From birth to 6 months, only milk is needed, as it contains all essential growth nutrients. If the child is healthy and growing well, no supplements are necessary. A doctor will determine if vitamin D, multivitamin, or iron supplements are needed. Daily sunlight exposure of 10 to 15 minutes negates the need for vitamin D drops, and a weight gain of 20 to 30 grams per day means no multivitamin is required.
