Q.

my baby is due for 12 months vaccine but he is suffering from cold. should I wait for his cold to recover or vaccine can be taken ? vaccine due are HEp A and Cholera

A. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and according to the type of cough its prescribed. if any fever ifs there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperagture and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .

A. If It is just a common cold then you can go ahead with the vaccination was the doctor say there is fever then you should not be getting the vaccination done but if there is no fever it’s only cold and cough the Can you more certainly can go ahead with the vaccination
