Q.

my baby is 9 months old.. MMR vaccination should be given now.. my point is does MMR injection given in 1 shot or does it includes 3 shots for babies... whereas previous 1st month 2nd month babies had 3 injection at a time for hand and 2 legs....

The MMR vaccine (Measles, Mumps, and Rubella) is typically given in two doses: First Dose: The first MMR dose is usually given at 9 months in some countries, though in other places, it may be given at 12 months. This is the first shot in the series. Second Dose: The second dose is typically given at 15 to 18 months, as per the vaccination schedule. It is given as a single shot containing all three vaccines (measles, mumps, and rubella) at once. To clarify, MMR is not administered in three separate shots. The first dose, typically at 9 months, and the second dose later (12–18 months) complete the vaccination schedule.
