Q.

My baby is 9 months old and he is suffering from dry cough. What should I do now?

A. If the cough is mild then avoid giving medicine. Start giving indirect steam to the baby twice a day. Give plenty of liquids especially warm soups and warm water to drink. Keep head little elevated while sleeping

A. wthr babyvisvhaving dry or wet cough needs to b examined by doctor...so visit nearby child doctor..noedicine to b given woyhout checkup of chest ...nebulisation of needed along with medicines..see for other sympts like fever or cold also

A. along with medication as suggested by your doctor give your baby steam at least three times a day put nasal drops in nose for easy breathing put ajwain potli nearby him so that he can breathe easily keep his head elevated while sleeping if your baby is 6 months or older you can rub Vicks on his foot or otherwise rub on his clothes
