A. neck holding of the child should be present by 4 months to maximum 5 months of age. regular massage of the back as well as the neck will help in strengthening the muscles of this area. if neck holding and head holding is not proper by the end of 5 months it is important to meet the doctor for examination to find the cause of delayed milestones. so please meet your dr as it's delayed

A. Hai good evening !! Baby holds neck by 4-5 months if you observe delay in roll over, holding neck ,check other milestones responding to sounds, recognizing things, voices, social smile. If everything is fine only holding neck issue then give tummy time - Place a blanket or mat on floor keep baby on tummy side for 5-10 minutes daily this will help in abs strength, roll over holding neck, crawling.
