Dear mum, assuming that you are introducing top food to your 6 months old baby, begin feeding with 3-4 teaspoons and then gradually increase the quantity. Try one food for 3-6 days for baby to accept and adapt. Many children are fussy eaters, so you have to be patient and keep trying.
Mom of 2 kidsMom of 2 children2 years agoA. Initially infants don’t eat much. Just 1-2spoon only but slowly when they develop taste they start increasing qty. when food qty increase reduces milk qty. Initially give mashed or mixer churned food so that it’s easy to swallow..
Try to set child milk and food time routine and this help to set your child’s biological clock and you can avoid him getting into fussy eater. Don’t force feed.
advice to start with rice first.. you may give mashed rice in formula milk or water or even in extracted mothers feed aswell. Give this one time for a week. Then next week give rice and moong daal(yellow) which means 2 meals in next week.. continue this for next week.. then add khichadi or daliya or oats as 3rd meal.. start it one by one so that you can monitor incase any food is not suiting child.. incase it happens try this food may be after 2-3 weeks..
