my baby is 6.5 months,I have started solids in pureed form like of banana, apple,watermelon,rice water, lentil soup.. since 2 days she is getting very tight stools, not constipated but very tight stools,she applies a lot of pressure many times a day and is irritared also & because of that she got redness in anal area. Is is due to any food or somethimg else I am unable to understand

I have faced a similar issue when I started with solids ..i was also giving the exact food that you are giving right now .... but didn't help at all ..the moment I started giving khichadi (liquid form)to my baby, she started passing soft motion.i would suggest to try once (start with only yellow moong daal and rice with haldi, Tomato as of now...do add ghee as well)...i strongly feel that it will help ...😊

If your baby is facing constipation issues you need to increase the fibre intake and keep your baby well hydrated and include dates prunes chiku and other fruits which are rich source of fibre in the diet and provide some physical activity as well
