Q.

My baby is 5months & 18 days old. He shows interest in sitting up in lap. I also have tried to sit him up with support of pillows and sometimes on a baby chair. Will it affect his spine? Will he have problems for this? I am very worried about this. Please anyone there help me regarding this.

A. Then will it affect his spine? Shouldn't I make him sit like this?? please reply please.

A. a baby will start Sitting with support by 6 months of age and by 7 to 8 months baby will sit without support than by 9 months usually baby crawls and in 10 months baby will stand with support. After 12 to 15 months baby will start Walking independently and sometimes it ma hiy take even longer but in no case any Walker should be avoided as it can cause recurrent fall injury and delay in the walking because the child lacks confidence of walking independently.
