My baby is 40days old and her belly button is not closed and there is red bubble. Attached the photo. Please advice what care needs to be taken for belly button

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist6 years agoA. Hello dear! This is an umbilical granuloma. It should be excised. There are few local treatments that can be tried failing which small surgical procedure needs to be done. Don’t touch them frequently as it can bleed profusely
