my baby is 40 days old and she sleeps very less. she is mostly awake and plays. she sleeps only for around 12 hours. is it ok

A. a newborn baby will be sleeping almost 14 to 16 hours per day as the age increases most of the babies during day time will be awake and observing the surroundings this is normal
