Q.

My baby is 4.5 months old. During birth she had good amount of hair but she is loosing them slowly and now hair fall is not stopping. Is it something to worry and do I need to consult the pediatrician? Please suggest.

A. Hello dear parent! Baby’s birth hair called lanugo will gradually reduce by itself in the first few months after birth, it is normal. As long as your baby is active and healthy, showing no discomfort symptoms, passing adequate urine then nothing to worry. Continue breastfeeding your baby well on demand for better health, nutrition and hydration. Good luck and take care.
