Q.
my baby is 2 months 25 days old and her stool is very hard and she is not able to push out and feeling uncomfortable. what to do to make her pass stool smoothly?

we are not giving any formula milk. she is completely a breastfeeding child.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. normally hardness of the stool is not seen when you are giving only breastfeeding to the child.
it is advisable to continue only breastfeeding and nothing else till completion of 6 months of age.
if still the hard stool continueds you have to visit the doctor to find the cause.
but if you are giving formula milk then there is a possibility dthat the milk is not properly digested by the child and you will have to change the brand of formula milk.
also do not give any food to the child except milk at this age.
