my baby is 17 months old he is not saying a word yet. earlier he used to say but after he got sick he has forgotten everything. can someone suggest something?

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. it's very late now. Speech delay can have multiple causes and infected requires a detailed examination by a ENT doctor so as to know the actual cause. Speech therapist is also a must for improvement in speech issues so .

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children3 years agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and it is very normal and please speak to your baby more and share nursery rhymes with your baby on daily basis and please wait for few days to start speaking.
