My baby is 14month old. She suffers from cold suddenly and temperature increased upto 103 degrees and after some time it decreased. What is reason

A. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it can be allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be benefichial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like wikoryl, alex cold ht In viral illness there can be cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration .

A. It Sometimes could be due to weather change maybe it’s called into your area which is why this is happening and the second reason could be when a child is severely exhausted that I am also these things can happen so you can give medicine as of now start doing cold sponging and if this happens again then you consult your doctor

Hello Doctor, my baby was 2 years old and she was suffering with viral fever from last 2 days and the temperature was high like 102 degrees to 103 degrees and we r giving her paracetamol for every 4 hours from last 2 days so that the temperature was getting control..
