my baby was 2 years old and she was suffering with viral fever from last 2 days and the temperature was high like 102 degrees to 103 degrees and we r giving her paracetamol for every 4 hours from last 2 days so that the temperature was getting control.. Is it gud to use paracetamol drug more oftenly. I was getting worried of using paracetamol in regular intervals can u please let me know is it gud to use paracetamol in regular intervals and upto how many days we can use it.

give only when fever comes 
for fever as well as pain kindly give paracetamol according to the weight of child as well as according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having and paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day and also do body sponge to decrease the surface temperature.
also when u take temperature in the armpit of the child and it is 100 or more then only consider it as fever and give paracetamol.
higher medicines for fever like ibugesic and mefenamic has to be given only after medical consultation.
after giving fever medicines you can wait for maximum 3 days and then meet your doctor if it is not improving. keep the child in cool atmosphere
