My baby is 1 year 4month old, only has 7 teeth. Is this delay in growing teeth and if yes then what is the reason for it?

No there is no delay a child can have its first it by the age of 17 months your child already has good number of teeth so that is definitely going good as of now so need not worry about it in the process the others will come over the period when the gums are ready to eat of them
