Q.

My baby has 14 mnth old. For 4 days she had cold and consult a doctor and gave fecon syrup. when taking the medicine stop the runny nose bt today again cold and cough affected her. Can i consult doctor again. Please give any suggestions.

A. hi you can continue the medicine for 2 days more. but If symptoms increase fever starts you must visit the Pediattician. you can also do plain water steam inhalation at home. rest take precautions of handwashing and other measures to prevent further spread.

A. most of the times cold infection is because of viral infections generally cold subside in 7 to 8 days time if the nose is blocked you can instill saline nasal drops in the nose continue the medicine prescribed by your doctor for another two days
