my baby girl only feed for 3or 5min in one breast only and she stops how can she get hind milk and she is not gaining weight also but how can I increase her time to feed I am so worried plz help me dr

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. see yiy have to feed her minister minimum twenty minutes ok and yiu must try to take a good diet so thet your milk production is not going down at all

Hello ma’am See why this is normally kids have a good latching speed so the latch on really faster five minutes probably they can take a decent feed from you and fill up their tummy so if your child is not asking for a feed for minimum two hours that means whatever milk your child is having is a sufficient. And if your child is not gaining proper weight with breast feed also then you may need to consult your doctor ones
