Q.

my baby girl is having a fever and she is sleeping but she didn't take medicine..shall I wake her up and give medicine or sleep is better than medicine....while sleeping she won't take medicine..

A. you have to always complete the course of medicine given by your doctor. many medicines can be mixed with water food juice and milk and given to the child so please confirm with your doctor which medicine can be mixed with food and given to the child. also you can keep some taste changing food in your hand and give that taste enhancer immediately after giving the medicine which might decrease the chances of vomiting post giving medicine. many times a divergence technique also helps in small children that is you give the medicine and immediately divert the child with some music or sound dor playful activity. you may give the medicine with the help of a dropper or a syringe (without needle) from the corner of the mouth d
